How it's made
- We start by searing the minced beef and pork with garlic, onions and tomato paste and let it slow cook to make a classic bolognese.
- The bechamel is made by whisking gluten free tapioca flour into simmering butter and stirring in milk and spicing with nutmeg to make a creamy bechamel sauce.
- The lasagne is layered with our award winning sheets from soybeans (that are packed with protein) and topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
Our chefs lovingly prepare each of our meals by hand. We then blast freeze our meals to keep the flavors and nutrition without any additives or preservatives required.
Our cooking instructions are only a guide, all equipment differs so please adjust accordingly.
Microwave (750 Watt)
Remove paper sleeve and poke a few holes with a knife or a fork in the plastic film (it's microwave safe!). Place in middle of microwave and heat for 7 minutes. Wait for 1 minute to let the heat distribute evenly before removing from microwave.
Traditional Oven (165°C) - DO NOT USE TOASTER OVEN
Remove paper sleeve and plastic film. Place in middle of preheated oven and heat for 30 minutes. Wait for 5 minute to let the plastic tray cool and regain it's rigidity.
Do not reheat in toaster oven, as they exceed the temperature our tray can withstand, even on low settings.
